Cycling Groups and Clubs in Bath
Bath Cycling Campaign does not generally organise rides, but if you're looking to ride with other people may want to try one of these.
Bath Cycling Club
The club has two club runs each week. The Sunday ride covers between 45-65 miles, depending on the time of year, and aims to return to Bath between 1.00-1:30pm. The Tuesday run is usually an all day ride taken at a gentle touring pace with a stop for lunch. The club is also takes part in road races, time trials and sportifs. see www.bathcc.net

In Munich they want to increase urban cycling from 13% to 20% of journeys. Throws the Brits pathetic and measly 1% into the weeds. http://bit.ly/blAn2D

Help police get stolen bikes back
A bike is stolen every 71 seconds in the UK so how do you get yours back if it is ? Well, if you register it on www.immobilise.com chances are, if the police find your bike, they can return it to you quickly. Immobilise is a database that enables you to record all your bike details, upload photographs and proof of purchase. The database is used by police to return items that have been recovered. You can also mark your bike with a special immobitag that thieves can't remove and you can also record details of your mobile phone, TV and other items.
